Radiant Heating Oven Overview
The radiant heating oven is a key piece of equipment for drying and curing pre-impregnated sheets (PP). It can be heated by hot oil or electricity and provides either conventional or far-infrared radiation. Far-infrared waves are particularly effective for epoxy resin, as the energy is absorbed directly by the resin molecules, promoting solvent evaporation and uniform curing while minimizing bubbles and surface defects.

Design and Operation
- Modular design: The oven consists of multiple sections, with a height typically between 5 and 15 meters, depending on the fabric thickness and production speed.
- Separate upward and downward sections: The upward section gradually removes solvents, while the downward section completes curing. Temperatures for each section can be independently controlled.
- Radiant panels are installed on both sides of the fabric path, with adjustable distances (70-200 mm) to optimize heating for wet or dry states.
- "Air-seal" sections (air curtains) at both ends prevent solvent-laden exhaust from escaping, ensuring a safer and cleaner working environment.
